Find More Than Just an Outstanding Bloody Mary at Chapel Tavern’s Pop-Up Brunch with Mark Estee and Magpie Coffee Roasters
An unexpected brunch spot will “pop-up” at Chapel Tavern on Saturday, May 18th, featuring three seatings between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Three local experts in their fields – Chef Mark Estee of Campo Restaurant, Magpie Coffee Roasters and Chapel Tavern – will join forces to present a brunch menu created to showcase each of their respective skill sets at the “Magpie Pop-Up Brunch.”
Known for their handcrafted cocktails, selection of global craft brews and wide array of whiskies, Chapel Tavern’s recent indoor/outdoor seating expansion and new reclaimed wood tables on the patio present the ideal spot to enjoy the special brunch menu created by local Chef and Restaurateur Mark Estee. Brunch will consist of three items, complemented by a specialty cocktail made from all natural ingredients by Chapel’s expert bartenders, plus coffee roasted locally by Magpie Coffee, prepared in a traditional pour over method. Additional cocktail and coffee service will be provided at an extra charge.
“This is a completely different type of event than we’ve ever done here at Chapel, which we hope could end up being monthly, bringing in new chefs each time.” enthused Duncan Mitchell, owner of Chapel Tavern.
There will be three sittings of 50 people each, with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance by phone.
